Company Title Subdivision

HLH were, and still are, at the forefront of re-establishing Company Title as a means of dividing ownership rights to property.

HLH have become highly experienced in Company Title transactions and have also been involved in some landmark court decisions in the Land & Environment Court to determine whether or not Council approval is necessary for Company Title ownership.

HLH negotiated a change to the Duties Act to avoid an anomaly in respect of certain Company Title transactions and continues to be actively involved with and make representations to the Office of State Revenue, when necessary.

To prevent future issues before you go to Council, HLH suggests that we become involved earlier rather than later.

Over the years HLH developed, and continues to modify, the HLH constitution for Company Title which enables it to apply to a wide variety of situations (see our article on Company Title).

HLH will give outline on stamp duty issues, CGT and GST implications on conversion of old Company Title structures to strata title.
