At HLH our lawyers have acted in Land & Environment Court appeals since 1992.
Our experience and expertise in Land & Environment Court appeals covers an extensive variery of land uses and developments (including State Significant Development, such as wind farms), which have taken place within a diverse range of Local Council areas. HLH's lawyers have acted for and or against both Sydney Councils and rural Councils, and often in environmentally sensitive areas.
We have acted in all forms of development (Class 1) appeals - both for applicants and representing resident objectors, as well compulsory acquisition and valuation (Class 3) appeals and mainly as solicitor advocates. Our experience and expertise extends to Class 2 appeals in the Land & Environment Court as well as appeals under the Trees (Disputes Between Neighbours) Act 2006.
HLH has sucessfully represented clients in civil enforcement (Class 4) proceedings involving injunctions taken by or against our clients, together with criminal (Class 5) prosecutions, including prosecutions for the removal of trees and unlawful land clearing on behalf of Council clients.
